The more things change, the more they remain the same.
It’s the same impoverished millions coming out to vote. The same indelible ink marking the voter’s finger. The same cotton-clad politicians milling about Parliament.
Perhaps, the only things that aren’t the same today are the electronic voting machines and legions of paramilitary forces deployed around polling booths.
